Andy Mrotek

Andy Mrotek is an American musician best known as the drummer for the pop-punk band The Academy Is..., which was part of the prominent Fueled by Ramen label roster in the mid-2000s. Emerging from the Chicago music scene, Mrotek joined the band in 2005, contributing to their acclaimed debut album, "Almost Here" (2005), which featured popular tracks like "Checkmarks" and "Slow Down." The album helped define the sound of the pop-punk genre during that era, characterized by catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
